Mens Pool Night: Saturday 18th November 6.30pm

Men of all ages are invited to our Pool Night Social on Saturday 18th November from 6.30pm.

Come and join us for a relaxed and fun evening of pool, food and laughter – all levels of ability are welcome!

Venue: 358-362 Green Street, Upton Park, E13 9AP

Cost £15 per person – includes cost of pool, food and a drink.

Rooted For Relationships: Friday 17th - Saturday 18th November

ROOTED FOR RELATIONSHIPS is an interactive course which focuses on the individual (male and female) particularly those seeking to form lasting relationships. We all need to understand who WE are first, before we can entrust ourselves to others. But, how do others perceive you? Do you communicate well? Is it YOUR way or GOD’S way?   The course covers a number of areas including: setting standards, planning ahead, setting the pace, attitude, intimacy, dealing with fears and unforgiveness. Set over a Friday evening and Saturday 10am – 5pm the course is open to unmarried men and women ideally aged 18 and over.

Men's Breakfast: Saturday 2nd December 9.30am

All men are welcome to join us for our Men’s Breakfast on Saturday 2nd December at 9.30am. Enjoy a hearty breakfast whilst listening to our special guest speaker!

Walk Through the Bible - Saturday 25th November 10am - 4pm

The New Testament is well known, however the context can often be missed. Relax and enjoy the journey as an experienced guide encourages you to see God’s Word through the `Big Picture’. Our FUN and MEMORABLE sessions will help you learn with such CLARITY you’ll be able to retell the whole STORYLINE to a friend.  We will also do our best to INSPIRE and EQUIP you to keep digging deeper.

Tickets are £14 for adults (workbook included) or FREE for 11 – 16 yr olds accompanied by a paying adult.

CGYA Music Cafe - Saturday 30th November 7.30pm

Young Adults will be holding a ‘Music Cafe’ on Thursday 30th November from 7.30pm – 10.30pm.

Tickets are just £7 (deadline 23rd Nov.)

The night will include: food, music performances, open mic and a DJ
Open mic – Register and submit songs by 16th November.
We’ll also have guest performances from gospel artist James Thompson and Melissa Camille!
Festive Church Walk: Saturday 16th December 10am

To celebrate the festive season, we’ll be walking around the historic Royal Borough of Greenwich. We’ll be heading to the top of Greenwich Park to take in the amazing sites of London before finishing at the Cutty Sark.

There is the option for a drink or to visit Greenwich and its market after the walk. A good level of fitness and a return travel card to Greenwich are required.

City Women: Drinks & Desserts - Friday 1st December

Ladies come and join us for our last City Women event of the year as we indulge in some festive drinks and cakes whilst hearing amazing testimonies!

This is a free event but you must register in advance. Doors open at 7.30pm. Unfortunately we will be unable to accommodate children at this event.

Coats For Kids

No child should have to suffer in the cold of a Redbridge winter, so we’re doing what we can to make a difference! With your help we will be able to purchase and receive as many brand new black children’s school coats as possible and give them to children in need.

Encounter Prayer: Tuesday 7th November 8pm

The format of our Encounter Prayer Meetings will be changing! Starting in November we will be meeting on the first Tuesday of every month from 8pm – 9.30pm in the main auditorium. It is really important that we devote time to worship, prayer and seeking God together as a corporate body, so we would ask that you all make this monthly meeting a priority.
